The platform

Eight modules for the EMS operating cycle, from RFQ to invoice.

WLD covers the operating cycle of a high-mix EMS company from the RFQ to the invoice; the statutory ledger stays in Procountor, which WLD feeds. Modules go live in phases, configured around your workflows, decisions and controls.

Module 01

RFQ & quoting

Every high-mix RFQ on one controlled path, with pricing grounded in your own history instead of gut feel.

  • RFQ pipeline with defined stages and approval workflows, so every quote follows the same controlled path.
  • PCB price estimation from your own quote history combined with current market data.
  • BOM management that keeps manufacturer and customer part identities side by side.
  • Approved alternates handled natively, so sourcing options are part of the quote, not an afterthought.
Flagship capability

BOM Import + AI Scrubbing

From a messy supplier, CAD or engineering BOM to a controlled, purchasable structure, without retyping it line by line. This is where WLD goes furthest beyond generic ERP: the system reads your BOM as it is, scrubs it with AI, enriches it with live distributor data, and turns it into items and draft purchase orders — under human control at every step.

  • Imports supplier, CAD or engineering BOMs from Excel (.xlsx/.xlsm), multi-sheet, with automatic column mapping — unmapped columns are kept as classification hints.
  • AI scrubbing in two stages: cheap local heuristic matching first, then an LLM maps noisy BOM lines to existing ERP items, infers manufacturer part numbers, and classifies item type and group — with a confidence score and reason per line.
  • Live distributor enrichment during scrubbing: descriptions, prices, lead times and stock pulled from DigiKey, Mouser, Farnell, Arrow and Future for electronics, and from Würth, Bossard and Fabory for fasteners and C-parts — eight distributor connections, each switched on with your own account. Bossard and Fabory publish no product-search API, so theirs read a search address you configure.
  • Human Review Queue: verify MPN, quantity, price, lead time, distributor, mounting, group and type; associate a row with an existing item, or auto-create new item masters from unresolved rows.
  • MPN ranking: alternative manufacturer part numbers ranked across the connected distributors by best price, best lead time or best stock; DigiKey, Mouser, Arrow, Future and Farnell price for the quantity you price.
  • Before Apply Import writes anything, it shows every Stock Item it will create or change, each field from old to new, and nothing is saved until you accept it.
  • With a ranked set, Apply Import becomes "Apply Import + Draft POs": supplier-grouped draft purchase orders with generated PO PDFs.
  • Extras on the same screen: BOM explode, where-used, Excel export, LCA analysis and EOL report PDF.
Module 02

Purchasing & consignment

Supplier reality — MOQs, lead times, consigned stock — enforced by the system, not by memory.

  • MOQ/MPQ and lead-time handling built into every purchase proposal.
  • Consigned and customer-owned stock managed with explicit liability rules.
  • Supplier rules and exceptions captured once and applied consistently.
Module 03

Material planning

Planning that starts from what is missing — and tells you exactly what to do about it.

  • Regenerative MRP: each run nets the whole open order book against stock, purchase orders and production, and shows what is short.
  • Clear allocation and expedite decisions for buyers and planners.
  • Readiness indicators showing which jobs can actually start — and which can't, and why.
Module 04

Job pipeline

Every job, from backlog to done, in one visible flow — including extended pre-production work.

  • One flow from backlog through NPI and purchasing to done.
  • A development pipeline for extended pre-production, where jobs need engineering time before they hit the floor.
  • Optional ERP order import where an existing ERP remains in place.
Module 05

Planning board

The whole production plan on one board — with readiness visible before you commit.

  • Work centers with planned dates for every job.
  • Readiness colors show at a glance which jobs have their materials and can run.
  • A clear status flow: pending → planned → in progress.
Module 06

Production & shop floor

What actually happened on the floor, captured once and used everywhere.

  • Work time capture per work center, so actuals are real, not reconstructed.
  • Production completion posting with scrap recorded at the source.
  • Batch and serial traceability built into the production flow.
Module 07

Quality & traceability

Audit-ready evidence in one place — genealogy, quality records and controlled documents, recorded as the work is done.

  • NCR and quality records tied directly to the jobs and materials they concern.
  • Lot and serial genealogy for every item set to be tracked: receipts, production, picking, deliveries and returns ask for the numbers.
  • Document control so the right revision is the only one in circulation.
  • Internal and supplier audits run against a built-in clause register — 123 clauses across ISO 9001, ISO 13485, EN 9100, IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001 and UL — with findings, checklists and reports kept per programme year.
  • Material compliance on every item: RoHS with exemptions, REACH SVHC, conflict minerals and WEEE, plus moisture-sensitivity floor life tracked to IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020.

WLD holds the operational records an auditor samples. Certification remains yours to earn — the system does not grant it.

Module 08

Job costing & invoicing

Margin truth per job — fed back into the next quote, and into your accounting.

  • Actual vs quoted cost on every job, while there is still time to act.
  • Purchase price variance tracking that turns margin feedback into better quoting.
  • E-invoicing and accounting integration to close the loop with finance.
