The engagement model

Three steps. No big-bang risk.

WLD is not a product you buy off a shelf and hope for the best. It is your platform, built and run for you — in three controlled steps.

How an engagement unfolds

EMS Process Blueprint

  • Paid engagement
  • 2–4 weeks
  • Fixed price

We map your real workflows, decisions, exceptions, data and controls — not the idealized process chart, but how work actually moves through your company.

Output: a phased implementation plan and a binding estimate for phase one. You can take the blueprint and walk away; most customers don't.

Phased build

  • Milestone billing, roughly 30/30/30/10
  • Formal acceptance criteria

Each phase is built, tested and accepted against criteria agreed before work starts. Billing follows milestones, so you pay for accepted progress, not elapsed time.

Quoting, inventory and traceability, or quality can go live first — and the platform expands from there, phase by phase.

Managed SaaS

  • Dedicated application
  • Cloud-hosted
  • SLA & tested recovery

You get your own dedicated application, cloud-hosted and operated by Jalacons: contracted availability, contracted backups and tested recovery procedures.

After go-live we keep improving the platform with you — under explicit change control, so improvements never surprise production.

Hosting & data residency

Your dedicated application is hosted in the region you choose: Helsinki (FI), Falkenstein (DE), Nuremberg (DE), Ashburn (US), Hillsboro (US) or Singapore (SG). For European EMS companies, EU data can stay in the EU — in Helsinki, Falkenstein or Nuremberg.

What we promise — and what we don't

Customer-specific does not mean anything-goes. Being explicit on both sides is what keeps the platform maintainable for years.

What we promise

  • The system follows your processes — not the other way around.
  • A separate application per customer: your instance, your data, your configuration.
  • Continuous improvement as part of the service, not as a series of paid projects.
  • Contracted availability, with backups and recovery you can hold us to.

What we don't do

  • Inefficient workarounds are challenged, not copied into software.
  • Platform components remain reusable vendor IP — that is what keeps your cost down.
  • Enhancement capacity and change control are explicit, with agreed priorities.
  • SLA tiers are contracted — we promise what is in the contract, and deliver it.

Step one is a conversation.
